The adapter supports three operating modes: Normal, Bypass, and Watchdog. In Normal mode, both ports operate independently. In Bypass mode, the network ports are physically linked, automatically forwarding packets between ports when the system is powered off or fails, maintaining continuous network traffic . Watchdog mode actively monitors system health, ensuring automatic failover in the event of hardware, software, or configuration failures, preventing communication disruptions .
LRES8030PF-BP is widely used in network security appliances, server clusters, and data center networks . It enhances network reliability and availability, ensures safe maintenance and upgrades, and guarantees stable inter-network communication even during unexpected system faults .
